Walking Blues featuring Keb' Mo' | Playing For Change | Song Around The World

Live Music Television is pleased to present more from Playing For Change. This one features the bluesman known as Keb' Mo' leading a stellar group of musicians plugged in from around the world and performing the classic blues standard titled Walking Blues.

Here is how Playing for Change sets up the song:
In honor of blues legend Robert Johnson's birthday, we are proud to share our latest Song Around The World, "Walking Blues," featuring Keb' Mo' along with musicians from six countries. Originally written and recorded by Son House in 1930, Robert recorded his own version in 1936. We started our version in Patagonia, Argentina with Roberto Luti and Nico Bereciartua playing slide guitars in front of a 100-year-old fig tree and with that raw performance, we added friends as we traveled to create a blues jam around the world. Blues is always from the people for the people and this video creates a moment in time to come together and put all the darkness and division we face as a human race into the music so it can set us free. Turn it up and enjoy!

Gaby Moreno - 'Til Waking Light (on "Live From Here" with Chris Thile)

Live Music Television presents Gaby Moreno and a live performance of her song titled "Til Waking Light, performed for the first time ever on Live From Here, with Chris Thile.

Gaby Moreno is a stellar Guatemalan born singer, songwriter, guitarist and recording artist, who is also an American citizen. Fortunately, she has the privilege of being able to travel the world freely to perform her music far and wide.

She is a Latin Grammy award winner, not just a nominee, who won the Latin Grammy award for Best New Artist. Prior to that she won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Before those wins occured, she paid her music dues the old fashioned way, the honest way, the right way: She wrote songs, played every show she could, she recorded independently and didn't let anybody tell her how to be. She always was and is a true original. No longer an indie, she is signed to a major latin record label. She sings in both English and Spanish, sometimes in the same song.

She often uses her music to stump for immigrants seeking a better life and that is what her song featured below is about. Live Music Television is very proud to present Gaby Moreno performing her song titled 'Til Walking Light, which she performed for the first time in this performance on a wonderful show known as Live From Here, with Chris Thile.
